Question on GitHub Submission Format #152
-
|
Question from a competitor: Is there any restriction on us creating and submitting our solution nodes within their own ROS2 packages within the SpaceTeamsROS repo? This would deviate away from us utilizing the current ROS2 package "space_teams_python" as we were looking to utilize, and therefore submit, a variety of packages just for our own organizational purposes. Feel free to let us know if you were looking for all of our finalized python files to be located within the "space_teams_python" package. |

There are no restrictions on the format of the solution, as long as the source files included (and references to well-known public ROS2 packages) are complete enough to be able to replicate your results. We don’t foresee needing to actually replicate the results of everyone’s submission, so you don’t need to spend effort on making the setup process easy. It is up to you whether to copy public open-source ROS packages into your submission or just leave scripts/notes of how they were included/installed. |
