ASRock/Other board issue with JAVA games/apps - All/Multi CCD cores not being utilized. #82

Description

@Peachsr

I'm unsure on what may be causing this as mentioned below, It's likely have something to do with the ASRock bios.
The ASRock (OCF) board bios that this issue is happening on is extremely "minimal" compared to an ASUS/Gigabyte board, I'm unsure what could be affecting it like this.

As a demonstration I've attached a video below showcasing a Java Game (Minecraft) Running on Lunar Client and using Adoptium 21
I've tried different Java runtimes including atleast 2 versions of each as well as (Feather Client) & Default MC.

CPUSetSetter for Java works correctly on ASUS motherboards (X870E Apex/Strix), Not sure about other boards/manufacturers.
Every other application/game I've used works fine, As show in attached video I try run every application from CCD1 (freq)

  • 9950X3D - X870E Taichi OCF
  • Global C-State Control (in BIOS): Enabled
  • X3D Gaming/Turbo Mode (in BIOS): Disabled
  • CPPC Preferred Cores (in BIOS): Frequency (I have tried all available options)
  • Game Mode: Disabled

*note when utilising both ccd's (all) normally, expected fps in the shown scenario is aprox 4.5k-5.5k
