User Guide: Feedback

I'm going through and attempting to learn the ins and outs of each tool and how I can manipulate them. For someone who doesn't have any photoshop or illustrator experience such as myself, a more detailed explanation of each tool would be helpful. The UserGuide shows basic strokes for each tool and not any info on what the tool can do. The tile brush is a great example of this. It's a really cool tool that doesn't seem to have any instructional info available. Maybe some quick bullet points on the basics and/or some of its attributes.
