Feature Request - Stats API integration with Hashwatcher app

I just wanted to ask if you could try to work with the developer of the Hashwatcher app for a stats API that integrates with their app for miner monitoring. If compatible, I think it would be a great platform for monitoring your ESP farms.

Interesting idea! I'm not familiar with Hashwatcher's API format.

Current Architecture:
SparkMiner devices fetch stats FROM external APIs (mempool.space, public-pool.io) but don't expose their own HTTP endpoint. Adding an HTTP server on the ESP32 would compete with mining for CPU/memory resources.

Alternative Approach:
If you're using a stratum proxy, it already exposes a /stats endpoint (port 3334) that aggregates stats from all connected miners. Hashwatcher might be able to consume this instead.

Questions:

1. Do you have a link to Hashwatcher's API documentation?
2. Would proxy-level integration work for your use case?
3. How many miners are you monitoring?

Once I understand the requirements better, I can evaluate feasibility.

Interesting request! I've researched HashWatcher's architecture:

How HashWatcher works:

• It's a local-network monitoring app (iOS/Android) that discovers and polls miners via their HTTP REST API
• It expects the AxeOS/ESP-Miner API format (same as BitAxe devices)
• Key endpoints: `/api/system/info` and `/api/system/statistics`
• No cloud service involved — all device-to-device on your local network

Current state:
SparkMiner currently has no web server or HTTP API — it only makes outbound connections (stratum pool + stats API). For HashWatcher compatibility, we'd need to:

1. Add an HTTP web server (e.g., ESPAsyncWebServer)
2. Implement AxeOS-compatible API endpoints returning hashrate, temperature, pool info, etc.
3. Add mDNS advertisement for auto-discovery

Considerations:

• Adding an HTTP server increases RAM usage and CPU overhead, which could slightly impact hashrate
• The AxeOS API format is well-documented (Bitaxe API docs)

This is a substantial but worthwhile feature. Adding it to the roadmap as a future enhancement. A local web dashboard would also be useful independently of HashWatcher.
