Unrecognized option "--verbose"

As per the readme, --verbose argument could be added for debug logging. however executing the latest version from Pypi, I receive an error:

snowflake-labs-mcp: error: unrecognized arguments: --verbose

Can you add guidance on how to enable verbose logging or change the log level to DEBUG?

Thanks for raising this! I confirmed this flag was not working as well.

This note was introduced by me on the README in cafea4f, I'll add official support for this option shortly!

FYI - We are encouraging our users to try Snowflake-managed MCP server as it is first class to Snowflake.

I wanted to chime in that I also came across the --verbose argument not working just earlier. Thanks for adding the support for it soon @sfc-gh-twhite .

A side question if I may, as you mentioned the Snowflake-managed MCP server: I actually started from Snowflake-managed MCP server and is main preference, but there seems to be an error registering it as a Connector on Claude with OAuth (a scope mismatch apparently?). Do you confirm, and is there a forum/thread I can follow on that topic? Thanks.

Thank you @sfc-gh-twhite . I've been using this labs MCP for generic text-to-sql execution. Looks like the managed MCP server now has support for it. Hopefully support is added for granular control like with the different statements.

@ainamdar-ag , @binaryspruce - Are either of you able to test this functionality merged to main via #157? If you are good with it, we can publish a release to PyPI!

FYI, we will start beginning work on #158 pretty soon here. We welcome any thoughts and feedback on adding feature parity.

@sfc-gh-twhite Tyler I tested this just earlier using the package from the main branch and using --verbose now works correctly without failing to recognize the argument. Thanks for the fix! ✌🏻

Sorry for the delay here, I opened a new issue for this (#160) for the time being () and will forward it to some people to get more eyes on it. I'll try to test it as well using Claude to see if I can repro. I did come across this reddit post, is this similar to what you are seeing?
