Export Formatting issues - Special characters for Sweden names

I started having issues with the Export Formatting for special characters in Sweden names.
Example:
"Severgårdh" is shows as "SevergÃ¥rdh" now

any help please?

i did not not make any chances on the code; the only thing i did was to run composer update a few days ago (Laravel project)
"maatwebsite/excel": "^3.1",

return \Maatwebsite\Excel\Facades\Excel::download(new PeopleExport( ), 'people.xlsx',  \Maatwebsite\Excel\Excel::XLSX );

wow....i just updated the package again and it worked.

That's probably because there was a new release of the underlying PhpSpreadsheet library last night to fix a character conversion bug in the HTML Reader that had been introduced when trying to handle PHP 8.2 deprecations to mb_convert_encoding()
