Broken terminal on SSH

I can access Spiral Linux over SSH, but the terminal is badly broken. When I type a command line I can't delete characters, and even if I don't delete anything, the terminal sometimes doesn't get a newline after the run command. Anyway, the command line is messy. But only over SSH. No problem when I use the terminal in Spiral directly/locally.

I access other Linux installations over SSH routinely and never had this problem. I have no idea what it could be.
