Hello,

My question:
I am trying to investigate some lagging audio in the audio bot. Someone had mentioned something about the bot and server running on the same pc (bot is pointed to 127.0.0.1). I have also built an API bot in python the querys the bot every 8 seconds or so to see if something is playing(127.0.0.1) then play something after a delay if not.

Quote from previous thread:
This can also be a problem of the internet connection/teamspeak. I can hear slight stutters when browsing imgur or opening websites, because the voice packets get slightly delayed (it also stutters for other talking people, not only for the audiobot). There’s nothing teamspeak can do, except increasing the buffer size, which also means increasing latency. Personally, I think keeping a low latency is more important (ms teams and others have a higher latency and it feels so much more clunky).
That is, unless your bot and your server are both running on your local pc?

The stats for the boot look great but the audio cuts out every few seconds then comes back.

I have the same problem on a server too. I think it's about Youtube-DL or YT-DLP. Check out: #1039
