Give them a new name.
Give them more unique quirks:
- extra eye damage and colorblindness is fine.
- Sharp claws should be balanced out by more than 10% hunger gain - make it 15 or 20% hunger and we're talking.
- Proposed addition: 20% cold resistance, but takes 20% extra burn damage.
