Support for the (new) 4th Generation Deye Microinverter SUN-M160G4-EU-Q0?

i think the problem are letters in the serial number. the config dosnt accept letters

I got it working by using the 2mppt template and adapting it to 4 tracker.

Hi, could you share your config please? I tried the deye_2mppt.yaml and deye_4mppt.yaml without any luck.

How did you manage to enter the serial number? Mine has a letter in it, so I cannot enter it in the gui. I tried to do it using the config file but it seems that none of the entities has a valid value.

Ok, I see. I used the "inverter serial number" instead of the "device serial number" from the web interface beginning with 24...

Hello,
works with Deye SUN-M80G4-EU-Q0 800W.
User Serial Number from the Logger, not from the Inverter!

The only change i did is in the deye_2mppt.yaml -> total_increasing for correkt calculation in HomeAssistant

Ah I see that today production sensor have incorrect entity descriptions, I'll fix it, thanks for pointing it out! 😉
