This is a simple sugestion for website rewrite.

FWIW, my feedback:

  • more modern, in a good way, with better overall design
  • text contrast is too low
  • easier to find the "download" buttons, which I like, but I'd want the "other versions" to have proximity to them
  • I think the original strawberry stock photo has much greater visual impact than the silhouette; against the white it really stands out and nails the branding; this salmon/burgundy mix is underwhelming
  • Donation link missing

I'd love to see an iteration, though. :-)

Today, I also thought that the strawberry perl website need a revamp and just found this thread. I know this is little old thread but just curious are we planning to do this ?

P.S. The new web page looks good. I am happy to contribute if any help is needed.
