I have building your adapter but it doesn't work and it's also generating conflict with the keyboard so i have few questions.

About the mini din pinout, what do you use?

What is the purpose of the two jumpers?

Keep top jumper closed and bottom open. Reverse the situation only if you are using a Sega Mega Drive controller.

The pin numbering I used is the one from Levente's design:

Conflicts with the keyboard are normal, unless joysticks are polled in a certain way (which the KERNAL is NOT following).

I have a new version of the adapter in the works, if it is ok I will also improve the docs.

So when the adapter is plugged in the c16 it's just acting like somnole keep pushing space bar...

No, check pin 8 in particular.

The expected conflict is that when you press the fire button or move the joystick on the initial BASIC screen, you will see some characters being "typed" on the keyboard.
