Describe the problem

This is my first time bug reporting and I'm not techy so sorry if I get this wrong! Thank you so much for building this game, it's brought real light and energy to my life.

Whenever my gamepad is connected via USB, the menu selection fritzes out using the left and right arrows on the gamepad. This will lock in inputs that interfere with using the arrow keys as a workaround so long as the USB is connected. It'll either get stuck scrolling infinitely (typically on the left arrow) or it'll treat a single input as a dual input with select and open that section of the menu / song / options as soon as I hit scroll down (typically on the right arrow). Sometimes it treats a single arrow hit as a dual input and opens the sorting options menu in the songs selection menu. It'll also jump around within menus to the top or bottom while skipping the other options. When in game play, it registers the arrow key inputs correctly and doesn't give me any errors but I think I can see that it sometimes registers a random dual input from the pad. If the USB is connected, even arrow key inputs will result in these arrows, or they won't register at all.

If it gets stuck infinitely scrolling, even disconnecting the USB doesn't fix it and the arrow keys won't register, so the whole game has to be quit.

I tested this with two separate DDR Energy gamepads (one fresh out of the box) as well as different USB adapters and it happened with both of them the exact same way so I'm fairly sure it's a software problem not a gamepad problem. I tried clean reinstalling Outfox twice both the alpha and the stable current versions, but the problem occurred on both. Is there an earlier version I should roll back to or a way to fix the menu bugs? It's making the game unplayable with a mat right now as is.

Describe what should happen

Left arrow key should scroll up one when hit once (constantly if held) and right arrow key should scroll down once when hit once (constantly if held) so long as inputs are mapped to up and down respectively.
