Would be good to come up with a presentation to start the week outlining all the motivations for learning Elm. It is good to make sure that these motivations are relevant to the students. For example "making apps that don't break" is not a very good one as they have not had much experience of this. A good motivation that I found this first time round was learn Elm as redux was based on it and it will make learning it a lot easier.
