This is a merge of initial Jenkins Tasks / Issues:

  • Install Jenkins on AWS Cluster
  • Automated tests. There are tests written as part of Postmill framework
  • Configure optional auto-deploy to web server as part of Jenkins build
  • Install Role Strategy Plugin
  • Install Conditional build steps
  • Artifact management (free version of Artifactory?)
  • Install GitHub Plugin
  • Embeddable Build Status
  • install npm
  • install rebuild plugin
  • Build 'master' in Jenkins on Commit Trigger
  • Build commit bdc8fd4 - original Postmill fork
  • Install Discord Plugin for Jenkins ( file on local ready to be installed on Jenkins)

moving the following tasks to separate issues as they are out of scope here.

  1. Automated tests. There are tests written as part of Postmill framework [Unit test execution @ Jenkins #29]
  2. Artifact management (free version of Artifactory?) [Discuss how/where to store release artifacts. #30]
  3. Configure optional auto-deploy to web server as part of Jenkins build [Deploy prod - pre-launch just dev-ops thing #12]

I'm closing this task since its completed.
