Could I get you to patch the headwolf FDLs for me please? Ive tried and tried and have had little or no luck. I'll send ya another 20 bux hehe

So riddle me this: with the verification nop'ed in data_exec, and furthermore the write check on secure partitions also nop'ed, is it possible to lets say, write a vbmeta-sign img that is signed differently? Case in point: I have a complete backup of a ROM, but not the FDLs for said build. Could I use FDLs from a different ROM, patched, to write the secure partitions of a device? So far it doesnt seem like this will work, however I am not worried about experimenting for the device has long since been bricked anyways, and it cant get any worse. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

So I (mostly..) answered my own question on this stuff. I managed to patch the FDLs for the BLU G53, which is on A13, to write back all of the partitions on this bricked Sebbe tablet I have. However, I cant write back the spl. It gets to 94.4% and craps out. Previous attempts to write the protected partitions always got to 97.7% and would fail. This is getting to 94.4%, then giving unexpected response twice then failing. I know it must be something I missed in the FDL2, but I am at wits end, and quite frankly amazed Ive made it this far. Igf not for the amazing wiki here I'd be a lost soul for sure.

So I finally succeeded in patching the FDLs from the Blu A13 handset as per your wiki instructions. I ended up using Binary Ninja instead of IDA. Anyhow, all the weird behavior they exhibited before is gone, and I can write to all the partitions no problem. Sadfly, I dont have the spl for the device I was trying to unbrick, so this is where the story ends. Anyhow, keep up the good work! I'll be sending more $ soon
