  • I checked to make sure that issue has not already been filled

Describe the bug

"Show notification" being enabled causes the GUI to freeze every ≈3–4s for ≈2s. Disabling it remediates the problem.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/repo/com.truemlgpro.wifiinfo_1610.apk.
  2. Leave "Show notification" enabled (by default).

Expected behavior

Whatever's erroneously running on the same thread as the GUI shouldn't be.

None of the relevant options depicted as enabled make any difference whether enabled or disabled.
