[Request] Add electrons for electrochemical reactions.

Good day guys,

I was doing osme writing which involved writing electrochemical half-cell reactions. Typically, these involve the transfer of electrons and are typically written within the reaction as reactants or products.
Whenever I tried to write down an electron in a reaction, for example: #ce("2H+ + 2e- -> H2") renders incorrectly,

Would it be possible to add formatting for electrons?

Hey thanks for reporting, this is a known issue since January. The reason it’s like this is because we want to support plaintext and chemical formulas at the same time. For now we’re detecting anything that has the pattern of a chemical element, but I’m sure there’s a bunch of others we could be detecting. Positrons are e+ right? Is there like a list of particles I can just implement?

Thank you for your reply! As for the list, these might be helpful:

1. "Symbols, units, nomenclature and fundamental constants in physics" by the IUPAP: Table 3 lists symbols for nuclear particles.
2. "Quantities, Units and Symbols in Physical Chemistry" by the IUPAC: In p. 50 it lists symbols for particles and nuclear reactions. Since this one is more chemistry oriented, I've attached a screenshot of the list.
