Efficiently writing mgen script files

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a quicker or more efficient way to write traffic pattern mgen files according to different traffic patterns. Currently, I have been hand-writing the commands in files for each node from scratch, but I find it to be error prone and time intensive for more complicated traffic patterns or networks with a lot of different nodes. Do you have any suggestions?
