How to save ClientWalletInfoUpdate result into local variable

First of all, this is a web project which using fastapi

Current problem: After __steam_client_login() which calls client.login(), the client has already got the ClientWalletInfoUpdate message. So I can't use wait_event function to get the result as the ClientWalletInfoUpdate only being sent once.

Question: Is there any way to pass a variable into the callback so the callback function can store data into it or the callback function can return data.
Or is there any way to get steam wallet data with client only? (Not the web api)

Ok, I solved it myself by looking into the wait_event code
Here is the code

result_async = AsyncResult()
client.on(EMsg.ClientWalletInfoUpdate, result_async, True)
result = None
    try:
        result = result_async.get(True, 5)
    except gevent.Timeout:
        client.remove_listener(EMsg.ClientWalletInfoUpdate, result_async)
