F5 for screenshoot doesn't work #48

Clicking F5 doesn't capture screenshot. At least it's not showing info about doing so and after you quit Portal 2 there's no window asking about publishing or deleting screenshot. Checked if that's only the Portal 2 issue and yes. In Left 4 Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2 it works.

Did you try using the Steam overlay's f12 hotkey? That worked fine for me.

F12 worked. And it got me wondering why making 2 keys for the exact same action instead of just defaulting the key to F12, but still make it changable if someone wanted to set it elsewhere.

Well F12 is completely independent of the game, it's the overlay doing it. But I agree, it's silly to include the screencap option in the controls for valve games.

I know it's from steam overlay, but that's valve game and they know it runs on steam ;)

F5 does work for me but gives no feedback at all. Screenshots are saved correctly to ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Portal 2/portal2/screenshots.
