After a sequence towards the end where a door is broken off the side of the train cart and the monsters howl is heard, the teaser fades out and simply sits at a black screen indefinitely. You can exit normally via the pause menu.

I can back this up. I attempted it some time ago and it did the same for me as well. Just a black screen once the screen goes black after the train car opens. Have to exit via menu.

Confirmed

Confirmed on my end as well. Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz, ATI Radeon HD 4850, Kubuntu 14.04 prerelease, open-source video driver.

If you're not interested in dealing with this (I know I wouldn't be), it might be wise to just remove it entirely, since it's a teaser for a movie that came out years ago.

I don't know what it's supposed to look like, but one part of the problem appears to be that it's expecting to find a file named E1912_end.bik, but which is actually named e1912_end.bik. Renaming the file (you should be able to find it in steamapps/common/Portal 2/portal2/media) made it progress a bit further.

It still failed to show some sort of web page at the end, but maybe that page just doesn't exist any more?
