How to play vanilla sounds

So I used Ambience with a main menu mod to add custom main menu music.
The problem is it seems the mod overrides all the other music sounds in the game.
I just wanted to edit the main menu, so i was wondering how to get vanilla sounds to play if i don't have a sound file for every event/biome?

Ok, Since their doesn't seem to be a way to do this, does anyone know of a ambience modpack for vanilla sounds?
Otherwise, it'd be nice to have a way to do this in the future.
