Weapon sound effects seem far too quiet

I honestly didn't realise there was a pick up noise until my 10th race and I was out on the track on my own, its very subtle and doesn't tell you want the weapon is, glancing up to the top of screen can be difficult at high speeds.

Additionally the volume levels for firing the weapons seem very quiet, the satisfying chunk of dropping a bomb in WipeOut is one of the best feelings in that game :)
