Currently there are 3,000 files which makes the site run fast but makes downloading all the data a pain.
If we zip up the files on our side and post a link to the zip that will save people the effort of crawling /data and issuing thousands of download requests.

Mark roth can make some improvements. He was offering to provide a json endpoint for the file list and metadata. I’m sure he can do this too really easily. I’m on my phone. Otherwise I’d tag him
