VOWL Protege Plugin does not display ontology correctly #17
Comments
Hi @mick-d I noticed the same, at first I thought my ontology was broken (which wasn't) - any alterntives to VOWL? |
Hi I'm sorry but I can't open the link to the AfricanWildlifeOntology1 nore the link to th mailing list. When I google for the ontology and use this one: The ontology seems okay for me: Maybe you can send me the ontology which has the issue so I can have a deeper look? |
I have another ontology I'm currently working on, and it seems also to be displayed incorectly. Which version of the VOWL plugin are you using (.... and which Protege)? |
I was using Protege 5.6.1 and version 0.1.4.47 of the VOWL plugin. |
Okay, I'm using Protege 5.6.2 and 0.1.4.49 w/o success. I will try your version. |
Hi,
I posted this issue on the Protege mailing list here but only realized afterwards there was this Github repository, so my apologies for the cross-posting.
I could use successfully the web version of VOWL with en extremely basic ontology of African wildlife AfricanWildlifeOntology1.owl, however the VOWL plugin in Protege displayed it with numerous incoherences. For example, the VOWL plugin showed "elephant" as a subclass of "plant"...
How to disply such a simple ontology correctly in the VOWL Protege plugin?
