Look what happened after I installed the waterdog, the server receives MANY network packets.

Your server is lagging because it is overloaded (99%+ Server Load). Try reducing View Distance if it is above 4.

Same amount of packets would be sent even if you wouldnt use proxy (assuming there would be same player count).
Only difference with proxy is that, all players seems to have same address from downstream side.

So you think it might be pocketmine.phar? Would it be better to use nukkit then?
