The translators have no access to translate the name and contents of the "Places" page.

I move this issue here from the discussion about the Russian translation patch, because it (highly likely) concernes the upcoming new UI too.

The front page bookmarks (Music, Videos, etc), "Places", and section names are not translatable. Where do they come from?
Please, fix!

setConfigValue("local0", "type", "local");

It comes from here and will be customizable in the future, so I can't see any reason to make them translatable.

The reason is that anyone, who does not know English, will be unable to understand the contents of the app's home screen and use the app as freely as the English-speaking users. It contains a lot of labels that also recur on the cover page and bread crumb menus.

  1. The name "Places" is one of the core concepts of the CargoDock UI. It definitely needs a translation.
  2. The names of sections (Media, Storage, Developer mode, etc) must be translatable.
  3. Standard links (SD Card, System, Android Storage) should be translated for completeness of the UX. BTW. the same concerns the German strings in the cloud services setup dialogs.
  4. Default locations (Documents, Music, etc) IMHO should follow the usual desktop approach.

Russian Linux distros translate these and either use Russian names of folders or translate all GUI links pointing to them. Since SFOS does not change the names of the folders in memory, it is OK to translate just the labels. All this is done by default.

E.g. I click the Icon "Домашняя папка" and it opens my /home/slava folder, which contains default folders "Документы (Documents)", "Музыка" (Music) etc. I did not rename them. The desktop Linux system automatically creates them with Russian names if the Russian locale is chosen.

If the user wants to rename the links, he is free to do it. A 100% Russian user with no foreign background will expect the default locations named in Russian.

This names should be taken from system translation.
