Event notifications

I have a CIM indication event registered. The defined action writes to a log file, which works. I'd like to add a toast notification, but when it tries to run, I get an error.

Submit-BTNotification: Exception calling ".ctor" with "1" argument(s): "The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread. (0x8001010E
(RPC_E_WRONG_THREAD))"

I am not too surprised by the error. Is there a work around?
