Description

Cannot get the current release the Frontend is deployed in staging. It is suspected that it must be due to the addition of an nginx proxy.

Reproduction

  1. Visit staging.openverse.org/version.json
  2. Observe the void response.

Additional context

Noticed during the routine deployment attempt.
