Forge energy (FE) to Minecraft Joules (MJ) conversion does not work

It doesn't work when FE consumer is connected to energy cell from Thermal Expansion mod

Same here, but instead of a energy cell, I'm using a cryo-stabilized fluxduct from thermal dynamics going into a FE power consumer, going through the converter to a MJ power converter, through a wooden kinesis pipe, and quartz kinesis pipes going to my Buildcraft quarry. I'm sure it's getting power, as the Energy Bridge is full.
