How to add VVAS support in Petalinux 2022.1

Hi,

I am creating a new AI application on Petalinux 2022.1. I have installed Petalinux 2022.1, Kria KV260 BSP package and added recipes-vitis-ai from Vitis-AI 2.5. It is successfully built and created as an SDK package.

1. PetaLinux Tools - Installer - 2022.1
2. Kria KV260 Starter Kit 2022.1 BSP Update 1
3. Vitis-AI 2.5

Will you please help me to add support for VVAS 2.0 in the Petalinux 2022.1 release SDK for cross-compile applications?

Facing issues:

• meson.build:117:0: ERROR: Dependency "jansson" not found, tried pkgconfig
• gst/tracker/meson.build:17:0: ERROR: C shared or static library 'Simd' not found

Copy the recipes-vvas and recipes-vai to the petalinux project. Also, please make sure that you are using the right tag: https://github.com/Xilinx/VVAS/tree/VVAS_REL_v2.0.

For error regarding "jansson", you can add it to enable custom pkg during petalinux-config. Not know how, please refer to this step: https://xilinx.github.io/kria-apps-docs/kv260/2021.1/build/html/docs/build_petalinux.html#enable-xilinx-application-packages
CONFIG_jansson -> this is the keyword to add

I copied the dependency recipes for the device tree that I created with Vivado and Vitis to (plnx-proj-root)/project-spec/meta-user/recipes-apps/project-spec/meta-user/recipes-apps/ and, after adjusting the paths in the .bb files, the Petalinux project built successfully.

I fallowed from here. But i get same simd and jansson error.

  i used.

IMAGE_INSTALL:append += "simd \" I used this but petalinux-image-minimal not has simd. I got error again.

No, this method is for 2022.1, not 2021.1

Hi, i take old simd.bb file from old version and added the user_recipes. So it is works for me. Thanks for answering. I mean it is 2022.1 sorry for mistake.
