I have not fully understood your question. When you say "form of DPU added by Vitis" Vs "form of DPU added by Vivcado", do you mean DPU is being added as a Kernel or it is added as an IP in Vivado design?

vvas_xinfer plug-in is using Vitis AI API calls to configure DPU. So in your application, you use vvas_xinfer plug-in to perform ML Inferencing.
