Virtual Y - Make Categories display according to ordering in Taxonomy

Description

Sorting of Categories as displayed on the VY Dashboard and on the VY Categories pages are not consistent or straight-forward. YMCAs have expressed a desire for Categories display on the Dashboard and full Categories view to align with the order specified at Manage >> Virtual Y >> Taxonomy >> Categories.

Display of Categories on the Dashboard and the diplay on the Categories page should be consistant, and should align with the order specified on the Manage >> Virtual Y >> Taxonomy >> Categories admin page. When specific ordering (weight values) is specified by the Site Owner, display of Categories on both the Dashboard and the Categories view should show Categories in this order.

Two examples showing different behavior:

1. North Penn YMCA - https://northpennymca.y.org/

• Log in as ycloud_admin.
• Go to Manage >> Virtual Y >> Taxonomy >> Categories.
• Note that the categories are viewed in alphabetical order here, and when Show row weights is selected, each weight is set to zero.

• Referring to attachment North Penn Dashboard.png, the top 8 categories on the Dashboard start with Pilates, Strength, and Taewon-Do. Pilates is empty, but Strength and Taewon-Do seem to have the newest content.)
• Referring to attachments North Penn page 1.png and North Penn page 2.png, categories displayed on the Categories page also align with the Dashboard ordering, which appear to be aligned with categories that contain the newest content.

2. YMCA of Frederick County - https://virtualfrederickymca.y.org/

• Log in as ycloud_admin.
• Go to Manage >> Virtual Y >> Taxonomy >> Categories.
• Note that the categories are viewed in a pre-defined order by the Site Owner, with Les Mills categories at the top followed by non-Les Mills categories in alphabetical order. Selecting Show row weights shows the selected weight values starting with zero and progressing in ascending order. (Refer to attachment Frederick County categories - show Weights.png.)
• Referring to attachment Frederick County Dashboard.png, the top 8 categories on the Dashboard start with Strength, Yoga, and Specialty. This order is the reverse of the specified ordering in the Taxonomy > Categories page expressed by the Site Owner.
• Referring to attachments Frederick County page 1.png, Frederick County page 2.png, Frederick County page 3.png, and Frederick County page 4.png, categories displayed on the Categories page align to the ordering in the Taxonomy > Categories page expressed by the Site Owner, starting with Les Mills categories.

Acceptance Criteria

• Categories are displayed in alignment with the order specified by the Site Owner on the Taxonomy > Categories admin screen.
• Categories display is consistent between the Dashboard and the Categories pages.
