Description

Seems there's regression in CE1. When adding new assets (sprites, objects), they aren't available in code completion. However, I've noticed that after reloading project, it fixes for existing assets, and again only new one aren't working (but first one usually shows, further not).

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open attached project. There's object named Object there.
  2. Right click on it and Create Object. Do it at least 2 times!
  3. Go go Script1, put cursor between Object and ;.
  4. Try autocomplete (Ctrl+Space). Notice, that except of Object1, others aren't shown
  5. Reloading problem fixes issue with already added assets, but creates same for further assets

IDE v2024.1300.0.732 Runtime v2024.1300.0.743

Which operating system(s) are you seeing the problem on?

Windows 10.0.26100.0

Seems to happen also in IDE v2024.11.0.179.

@zreedy I've checked on latest dev version, and it still happens:

  • after creating Object2: it's shown
  • after creating Object3: it's not shown

So, it can be reproduced on 2024.11, 2024.1300 and 9.x

Reproduced in Code Editor 1 but only after opening Script1 prior to following the rest of the reproduction steps listed.
Fixed.

Reopened, not moving status so this goes through Triage properly.
It would be helpful to explicitly state Code Editor 1 in the title, I misunderstood this as a Code Editor 2 ticket initially.

It was labeled as CE1 originally, then got renamed to just say Code Editor

Yeah, there's no email notifications for renaming so I wasn't aware it's gone. Re-added.
