Recording would be a cool feature and requested earlier, see the jibri install.

Now there seems to be a way to allow local recording, so getting the record featuer without jibri.

Can we upgrade thie jitsi package to a later version and make sure we set

localRecording: {
         disable: false
   },

in the config.js

I've just upgrade jitsi app, and it has erased the manual modifications I made on /etc/jitsi/meet/domain.tld-config.js
Is there a way to make these changes persistant ?

config.js

Look at the log of the upgrade, it should say that it has backuped the domain.tld-config.js
And for now, $domain-config.js is upgraded during each upgrade
