Is this repository active? #61
Comments
I have recently created a new Swifty library for iOS pin view. Please have a look. https://github.com/siavashalipour/SAPinViewController |
@siavashalipour I would follow up on the issue noted here in #55 and maybe add even more customization. There were some rejections from the App Store Review process. Mostly on the similarities of the "look and feel" to the built-in lockscreen. |
@mteece , thanks for that. I'll add some more customisation like rounded rect, app logo. FYI: I have published app with the exact iOS PIN screen on the app store. |
@mteece, just added some new customisation (adding logo and having rounded rect buttons). check out v0.1.2. :) |
@siavashalipour when we got rejected by the App Store for the similarities I made a fork of this repository, and made the buttons rounded rectangles. That got us through the submission process. It did not seem to impact everyone for some reason. |
@lolgear @mteece Apologies for the lack of response. A problematic cocktail of relationship issues, health problems & intense client projects have meant I haven't had much (any) time for this project. Is the repository active? The answer is 'kind of'. Although I can't commit to updates as regular as I, and probably you, would like, I will be on periodically to answer questions, updates or concerns. Regarding the rejections from the app store, this does seem to be happening more often now than it did in the past. Although the original intent of this project was to mirror the default iOS lock screen, it would probably be benifical to add the ability to customize the view somehow. @lolgear your point regarding contributors and other core developers is a good one. I'll have a think about it over the next week or so (client project has wrapped up) and reach out to you if that's something I think could be benificial 👍. @mteece If we do, is that something that would interest you? |
@abury That would definitely interest me becoming a contributor or core developer. |
I think that core developer, @abury, doesn't have time for maintenance as he mentioned in #57.
Maybe I am wrong.
Need @abury response.
Also, it would be good to add another contributors/core developers.
I would like to spend some time on this project.
Any suggestions from others appreciated.
