A script restoring a given resource and optionally testing if it matches the current version would both make it easier to restore from a backup when needed and to test if the way we make backups actually works.

  • testing can be already made by the recent (>=5.5.2) backup.php of the arche-core
  • backups created with the backup.php from a recent (>=5.5.2) arche-core contains files list allowing to find the location of a given resource data within backups easily and quickly and restore can be done with just tar -x[z]f backup_file resource_file
