Are you able to see anything in the ABS logs, such as how long the response takes or whether an error is occurring on the ABS server? |

You may need to enable debug logs or set the query benchmarking variables to check that (you would probably not want to leave the benchmarking variables enabled due to printing out a lot more stuff) Mikiher is actively working on addressing the slow podcast page loading, so you may want to follow #3965 for updates or provide more information. There is more information in the other issues and PRs they mention. That should help address the slowness you are seeing in the ABS clients, and potentially address this AntennaPod issue if it is in fact the ABS server is not responding fast enough to the request. |

Hello,
First of all, thank you for this amazing software—it’s the best I’ve used for managing my podcasts. However, I’ve noticed some slowness in its performance, even though the app is very well-designed and enjoyable to use.
To work around this slowness, I created RSS feeds for my Audiobookshelf podcasts, which I subscribed to via the AntennaPod app on my Android smartphone. Overall, this works well, but I often encounter connection errors between AntennaPod and the Audiobookshelf server. It seems that the Audiobookshelf server doesn’t respond within the expected time. Despite these errors, since AntennaPod checks the server every hour, the podcasts are eventually retrieved.
Is this a known issue? Are there any settings or adjustments in Audiobookshelf that could help resolve this and avoid the errors?
