Hello. I have recently tested this program and am delighted with what I have seen. It is very well made so far, although immediately I have noticed a few things that have hampered my experience slightly.
Most notably, the lack of input remapping. I prefer making left-click my attack button, but notice I am not able to do so, as it seems the controls are sadly hardcoded. Especially a Daggerfall-styled control remapping menu would improve my experience extremely.
Another thing I noticed in my test is the very slippery movement controls. I would press the A or D keys and my character would keep moving for a little bit after I let go of the key.
My mouse movement and movement speeds also seemed to be linked to my in-game FPS, which makes high FPS areas too fast, where the NPCs zip around. And as soon as I look away from the thing tanking my FPS, which is usually an animated sky texture that plays too fast, my game FPS drops extremely and everything else slows down. The slowdown benefits the playability, as the NPCs slow down as well, allowing me to catch up to them.
Maybe there's some way to slow down the game logic without slowing down fps? or unlinking the two? as currently arena either plays too fast or too slow.
