Let's say I'm done playing something and want to play something else.

Currently I need to do the following:

  1. Empty the current playlist.
  2. Enter the folder I want to play.
  3. Click "Queue All".
  4. Click on the first item in the playlist.

That's 4+ clicks for my most common action in Polaris.

It would be nice if this could be made less tedious. Here are some suggestions:

  • In addition to "Queue All", have a "Play All" button that replaces the current playlist.
  • Even better would be for the "Play All" button to start playback immediately.
  • Folders in the folder list should have "Queue All" and/or "Play All" buttons next to each folder listed, so that they can be queued/played from the folder list without having to enter the folder first.

With all of the above, the 4 clicks could be reduced to just 1 (i.e. click the play button next to the folder name).

I think there are some actionable ideas in here, thank you.

Note that you can drag and drop directories into the queue without entering them - which already mitigates this issue a little bit.
