Nightly rabbitmq tests are failing

It looks like the failures started after #7076 was merged, which is weird since that PR actually just reduced the number of requires_rmq tests. So there's clearly some non-determinism happening, I am looking into it.

Intermediate solution was to revert #7076, done in #7105. Maybe we postpone properly figuring this out to 2.8.0? Or you deem this as "resolved" @danielhollas? (maybe a bit unsatisfying, would be nice to figure out why the tests that started failing actually require RMQ)

No, not resolved. I plan to look further into this during coding week. If I have time. Doesn't need to be in a patch release, it doesn't (hopefully) indicate a bug in the code, probably just a bug in our test suite.
