Condition: unread messages, mail, calls

Have you ever thought about a condition that checks for new notifications/messages/calls? (the symbols shown on the standby-screen)

Usage I have in mind is the following:
ONLY show the standby-screen if there is a notification/message/call symbol and thus save a some battery life
