How to setup Grafana when it is not running in the docker compose?

The data source id is "ea97efebe7c9 " which is the hostname from the docker container. Metrics Are published successfully on /metrics but do not reach Grafana. Any suggestions for properly linking Grafana and PromEx?

As for your issue, the datasource needs to be the name of your Prometheus datasource as it is configured in Grafana? This is the name of the datasource and is usually Prometheus or prometheus
