alTRU.Eco - The altruistic1 economy uses open-source technology with data privacy.

Ecological Economy is an independent network of individuals, communities, and organizations applying the practice of Ecological Economics. It is a sustainable model inspired by the observation and research of small local communities in diverse locations and circumstances. During the development, we are focusing on Permaculture ethics and principles, following the Sustainable Development Agenda, and paying exceptional attention to data privacy and transparency.

We are well-provided in times of abundance, which enables us to share with others. -- eapo

The software is in Alpha state (MVP), and its main repository is deployed automatically on the amazing Galaxy hosting

alTRUE Toolkit

alTRUE is a toolkit to solve Scarcity in Local Communities.

Individuals, communities, and organizations can create P2P marketplaces using the alTRUE Toolkit to sell/exchange/gift goods & services.

  1. Running an alTRUE instance, you can create peer-to-peer marketplaces.
  2. The open-source4 marketplace supports the sale, exchange, or gift of goods and services.
  3. The uploaded goods and services are stored and managed with a resource management toolkit, using encrypted data and anonymized identity management tbd.
  4. Supporting Sharing Economy is the basic concept of the alTRUE ecosystem.
  5. Decentralized Sharing Economy is the key to solving Scarcity in local communities.
  6. The distributed network of local communities is building up the Sharing Economy backed by its resource management, trusted marketplace, and the three ethics of Permaculture
