All MUIClass examples work but crash on exit

I am having issues with the MUIClass examples and MUIIDE..

All MUI example programs work fine until one closes the window or CTRL-C ..

My Amiga (emulated) setup: WB3.1, MUI 3.8 demo..

Are there any requirements for the MUI examples to work without crashing?

I get 2 errors on exit.. a quick YELLOW GURU Meditation mentioning recoverable error followed by a RED GURU $81000005..

The Amiga crashes with your prebuild MUI examples, and also with the self-compiled versions (native AND cross)..

I was wondering.. if it could maybe be my Amiga setup..?

Other MUI programs from back in the day work fine.. so now I am stuck.. any advice is welcome..

to be honest, there is some problem with your setup as it seems.
First time i heard of this problem. I use MUI 3.8 on multiple Amigas (A600, A1200, UAE) and no problems at all.. also other people use MUIClass (all users of AmiTube and AmiFox, both are written using MUIClass) so i dont believe there is a general problem in the code...
Did you try the MUI Examples in FreePascal? like https://gitlab.com/freepascal.org/fpc/source/-/blob/main/packages/ami-extra/examples/muihelloworld.pas?ref_type=heads ? does it also crash?
I dont have a 3.1 setup anymore but i dont expect special problems because of 3.1
