How to mount cifs network shares for use inside of Plex/Emby/etc.

Hi,
I am trying for days to mount my Synology shares so I can use them inside Emby NAS and other Addons from this Repo.

Mounting using the addon config fails:
Using the IP Address:
Error read : mount.cifs: bad UNC ("//192.168.3.15/StarData")
Using the Server Name:
The structure of your "networkdisks" option : ""//starforge/StarData"" doesn't seem correct.
In both cases I have nothing in domain because there is no domain set up in my synology and PGID and PUID are 0

Then I tried mounting in configuration.yaml using shell command.
That works but I can only see the mounted files in the Terminal Addon or SSH shell, all other addons see only empty folders.

Then I found the advice to access the host fs and look for the addon files like:
/mnt/data/supervisor/addons/data/db21ed7f_emby_nas
and mount there, but I was unable to find that and even if I found that I have no Idea on how to persist that mount against updates.

Now it works, but if someone knows how to do it for non-alexbelgium addons I would still like to read it^^
