How do you composite objects from multiple reference images into a single background image?

We place them one by one.
For objects without overlap, you could also execute them in a batch

I understand that typically, we would need to add one object before adding the next. How can we interpret ‘execute them in a batch’? In my view, even if there is no overlap between the objects, I still think each one needs to be added after the other.
