Overview
The key that toggles between the initial numbers/symbols view and extended symbols view on the iOS virtual keyboard unexpectedly emits Shift keyup and keydown events to the underlying webpage.
This issue was discovered during development of the Design System team's Exit this Page component, but I forgot to report it at the time.
Expected result
The toggle key should not emit keyboard events, or if it should, they probably shouldn't be Shift key events.
Actual result
Pressing the key emits Shift key events.
