# My git cmd line cheatsheet

- Step 1: Clone project from github
	git clone https://github.com/alscherer/sleeper-rosters.git
		(might have to give token from password)

- Create token - see https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/how-to-generate-personal-access-token-in-github/ 

- To checkout to local dir
	git checkout .

- After creating new local file, introduce to git:
	git add all.py

- After editing local file, add to git staging:
	git add all.py  
	--> Yes, it's an add then, too

- To remove file(s) from dir & git:
	git rm Al*

- To check status before commit 
	git status

- To "commit" changes to local repository w text description
	git commit -m "Text description"

- To push local repository to github
	git push

- To rollback staged changes
	git reset HEAD
